Meeting called to order 7:10

Recruiting / Anything New – emails have been received and responded to.
Recent and Upcoming Events – spring campout was as good as any ever. weather, food, etc very good. Many long-time members were very pleased with campout. Much credit to Fritz’s final email reminding people to sign up.
Hike bald mountain – one family showed up (Wrays). Nathan would like to schedule for late fall next year.
Carwash fundraiser. No activity on presales or flier or other activity has occurred. Fritz to contact Chris to find out status. Might reschedule to a single timeslot. Also need enough hoses to reach across parking lot. Fritz has some supplies.
Beachwood swim party. All set need to send out notice. Ice cream drumsticks, guests should bring food if they wish. Pete to pick up dessert etc, to plan with Fritz.
Circle meeting status – no news
Council update – Hayley called Storer re:open dates for next weekend. Last two in Jan are available. Decided to try to get Jan 22nd to avoid Troy’s long weekend the 29th. Hayley also has Receipt from Ross for food items and from Slavin for pine car medals. Hayley will have the Y cut a check to treasurer to reimburse for medals.
Balance left was reported.
Discussed Compass Bearer for next season, looking for volunteers.
Patch master did not come up with patches for hike. Need 2.
No report from Honor Points chair, YMCA Board Rep, elders
Discussed Yearbook. Nathan to get reimbursed after purchase by Pete. Tentative cost per book to be $5.
Recruiting for fall. Fritz would like us to get together in early August and map out what to do for next year. Hayley available first week of August. Meet weekday night for planning. Nathan to ask Ann at printing place about recruiting posters.
Kickoff meeting should be late August/early Sep. Labor day is Sep 6th. Should have after labor day.
Council positions for fall. Nathan to put together list of positions and identify candidates.
Tony mentioned a lost expedition without a YMCA that would be interested in doing combined events (derby, campouts etc). About 70 families. Used to be connected to the Warren YMCA. Hayley to contact about joining Birmingham.
Hayley to contact torch lake YMCA about an august all family campout (possibly 2nd weekend).
Fritz’s last act as Navigator was to thank the council and adjourn the meetings for the year.
