With our new hosting site, we got some free Google AdWords credit. These are the text ads you see when you search on google. I set up a campaign that watches for related searches from users in our geographic area (within 10 miles of Troy MI) and shows this ad:

YMCA Adventure Guides
Dads – Quality Time With Your Kids!
Troy and Birmingham Michigan
ADVGuides.ORG

If you happen to see the ad, don’t click the link! It costs us money.

Update, as of the 10th, Google has shown our ad about six thousand times and about 10 people clicked through to the site.

Our ad has been shown over 10,000 times now, not bad considering that is just people in our immediate area.
