1/5 Council Minutes

Meeting called to order at 7:10pm.
Participants included Klingler, Wray, Wilker, Murphy, Bleich, Burdik, Gerhardstein.
Scheduled events, recent and future:
Bell ringing – Several circles participated in separate bell ringing: Paliminos, Wildfire, Sequioa and Calypso that we know of. Each raised about 150+ dollars
Family Fun night this Saturday the 9th, swimming 7-8, play in the gym 8-9:30 with pizza (Pete will take care of pizza, pop)
Haley to make sure cart of balls will be available
Skating flier to be updated (patch event, family event) and sent out.
Winter Campout – minimum is most likely 60
Need to get the flyer together, select events, get torches
Snow snakes this year? On toboggan run on other side of the lake.
Might bring unfinished snakes this year and let the kids finish
Registration will be open by Friday the 8th
Storer has a screen and projector
Daddy Daughter Dance Feb 20th 7pm. We should get the flyer out ASAP so dates can be reserved.
Calypso sponsoring, details to follow.
Hayley to make sure we have the gym reserved early enough to do setup.
Girls could invite friends (with dads) – recruiting ?
Sledding coming up 2/28 Lincoln Hills Golf Course 1pm
Pinewood derby 3/21 details to follow

Circles all reviewed their recent circle activities.
Planning to revive the yearbook idea, Nathan will send out a call for pages
up to 4 pages per circle plus event pages
Sponsor circle to create event pages
Finances: Pete to forward list of adventure fund circles for Fritz to follow up
Fritz to coordinate family fun night patches with Labell
Ross to get the Honor Points spreadsheet caught up, Pete will send the template to him
YMCA strong kids fund – Guides/Princesses to raise money? Possibly a car wash this spring
